AUTISM NI'S SUPERHERO WEEK!
To help raise awareness of autism in school and at home we are supporting 'Autism NI's Superhero Week' which commences on Monday 5th to Friday 9th February.
On Monday each pupil will be given a Superhero Tasks Wall Chart with 5 Superhero tasks to do at home, then on day 5 (Friday) the school will hold a Superhero Dress-Up Day with each pupil coming to school dressed as their favourite Superhero.
During class on Friday pupils will receive their Superhero status by being awarded a certificate and sticker badge; on completion of all Superhero tasks (parent/guardian to sign the wall chart to say the child has completed their Superhero tasks).
The 5 tasks are as follows:
- Be as STRONG as Superman e.g. help carry the shopping
- Be as SMART as Ironman e.g. do your homework
- Be as KIND as Wonder Woman e.g. feed your pet of the birds
- Be as GENEROUS as Black Panther e.g. set the table
- Be as AMAZING as Spiderman e.g. keep your room tidy
We also ask that each child's family contribute a voluntary donation towards this very worthy cause.
Thank you in advance! Mr White.
